PHASE ONE OF ZONAL INTERVENTION PROJECTS: EMPOWERMENT TRAINING OF 135 WOMEN

Hon. Israel Sunny-Goli a.k.a ADI, House of Representatives member representing Brass-Nembe Federal Constituency, kick-starts Phase One Of his Zonal Intervention Projects (ZIP) with an Empowerment Training of 135 Women through the National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons.


The women were drawn from the thirteen (13) wards in Nembe Local Government Area, and they were also given cash gifts at the end of the programme.


In the coming days, over three hundred(300) persons will also participate in another entrepreneurial training programme. 

It will be held concurrently at the headquarters of Nembe and Brass LGAs, respectively; with participants drawn from each ward that make up the entire Federal Constituency.


In addition, he has also facilitated through the Boarder Communities Development Agency, BCDA, to provide hair dressing machine with a generator attached to each; tricycles(keke napep); manual sewing machines; and motorbikes(Okada) for about one hundred and fifty (150) persons.


Upon the completion of these empowerment projects highlighted so far, Hon. Israel Sunny-Goli shall equally ensure that solar powered street lights and other capital projects domiciled in the 2020 budget that will be beneficial to the different communities are utterly executed before the end of this year 2020.
